“THE BUSINESS OF ART AND THE ART OF BUSINESS”
THE NAME
Concrete Cakes comes from the saying, “You can’t have your cake and eat it too.”
Our response to that is, “why not?”
So “Cakes” represents the reward…a reward that we should be able to fully consume and not just look at.
And “Concrete” means real or tangible.
When you put them together you get the literal meaning of “real rewards.” This could mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people but it all boils down to the same concept…
We want to live a lifestyle where we don’t have to choose between doing what we love and making money. We want to have our cake and eat every damn crumb.
THE MISSION
Concrete Cakes serves as a platform and resource for aspiring artists and entrepreneurs. For established artists and entrepreneurs, Concrete Cakes is another outlet to show off your talents and/or promote your business. For aspiring artists and entrepreneurs, Concrete Cakes will show how to start and where to go from there.
